We’ll Miss You Bobby…

Bobby Giacobbe was a friend of mine.  He was a father of two small children and over the last two years, went through a very rough stretch.  He lost his business, his home, his family, and eventually his dignity.  He went through a messy divorce and was wrongly accused of crimes he did not commit.

On Wednesday, he had enough and took his own life.  Bobby was bullied to death and leaves behind two small children.  How sad!  As men and as Dads, we often hold things in. We think we can solve everything without help from others.

I am sad for Bobby but I am more sad for his children.  They will now live the rest of their lives without a Dad.  Let’s stop the bullying!  Enough is enough.

Rest in peace, Bobby.

So sad. I knew Bobby through my brother and I always liked him. He was always warm and friendly. I haven’t seen him in over a year. I’m so sorry he’s gone and sorry for his kids. I hope he is in a better place and is at peace.

Bobby was a good friend of mine, a mentor and a man I looked up to. It disgusts me that he was accused of crimes he was incapable of by a disgusting woman who did not care for his children or anyone else but herself. All of us who knew you Bobby miss you and were lucky to have known such a great person, amazing father and member of society that all loved and respected.
