Now Hear This (posted extemporaneously by Jim Jennings)

The only moment we have is this one, right now.

Of course, as you read this, it’s a different moment, not the one in which I’m typing, but you get the point. I’m clicking the keyboard in my present tense and now you’re reading it in your present tense, so the general conceit works, I think.

So savor this moment…right now…

The general conceit works except for the execution thereof…therefore…is it working (present tense)… will it work if I think about it? (future tense)…did it work when I tried it before? (past tense)…would it work if I were to try harder? (does that make future perfect? too many years since Ms. Amos did her best to dun all this into our distracted brains).

Meanwhile, in my immediate past tense, as a test, I changed my Google image…does it change on your phone? If true, that’s scary!
